To Mother Teresa
I
want to dedicate this day to a woman who represented the greatest
example of Love and Humility and Mercy and then of Holiness, the
twentieth century. A woman becomes Santa, because today the Holy Father will sign the Decree of Canonization. A woman whose example is not easy to follow for those who consider only the earthly life. You
know my surprise when I discovered that he was Albanian, as a child I
thought it was Indian ... already because she is the Mother Teresa of
Calcutta. India is a great nation under God, who sent him practically in the same period two great Earth. Ie the unforgettable (even if not canonization) Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi called Mahatma, and Mother Teresa of Calcutta. If
my father is back in Italy after four years of imprisonment in Tibet I
owe it to the fact that Gandhi gained independence for India and so it
was no longer acceptable that there were British concentration camps in
India. But if the Christian world has become more good we owe it to Mother
Teresa of Calcutta who by his humility, and Mercy has made life more
human than many Indians abandoned by all.I
always wonder why there are human beings who are clothed with power and
judge others, and fail to bring in their hearts what it is the only
commandment that Jesus the Son of God has taught us. Ie AMA, love God with all your heart and all your soul. Love your neighbor as yourself. Mother
Teresa of Calcutta, as Pope John XXIII, Pope John Paul II, like Don
Bosco, as Padre Pio and many others, have loved sincerely. Today
we have a # PadreBuono that our beloved Pope Francis, who is teaching
us to love erasing all that is useless and "bureaucratic" in the Church.
He is preparing the ground for the triumph of love. Yet
there are men, and not priests, who deny the Love under the cloak of a
Law that two thousand years ago was canceled by Jesus. These people I
call them the Pharisees of our time, those in front of a sincere love
stop watching, judging and condemning and threatening, bringing discord among the pure in heart. Even
Mother Teresa of Calcutta, as Padre Pio and many other saints had to
suffer the wickedness of the bureaucrat, and unfortunately in history
the Church has had the Inquisition. Nastiness
even more unbearable when these priests who only know how I would do
the employees, also go against the will of God, represented by the Holy
Father and the Synod of Bishops. They
exploit the ignorance of people to give teachings that are no longer
part of the Church but shy away from giving Love to the humble and to
live with Mercy. At
the end remained the Wretched and Mercy, nobody condemned and no one
judged, no one was without sin, and even Jesus our Lord, who certainly
was no sin, judged the Wretched, the acquitted and told her to sin no
more. Here Forgiveness, the greatest act of love. Thanks Mother Teresa of Calcutta who taught us all this.
